What a lovely reintroduction post! I love the idea that there is something more for all of us, especially as we get older, and I’m always on a personal quest to learn more and grow (hence why my newsletter is called Almost Sated).
Also, congrats dipping your toes into silver sisterhood. I embraced my silvers at 47, and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. It was the start of my midlife reclamation!
Thank you, Kristi, it's good to hear from you. Thanks for reading and commenting. I love the concept of Almost Sated - almost, but not quite :) And I do think midlife reclamation is a powerful time of self-liberation.
I’ve lined this up to listen to tomorrow morning on my walk and I’m looking forward to it! Thanks for the mention and I’m happy yesterday’s session was helpful 😊
I listened this morning and I so enjoyed hearing you read your post. I especially liked the Scottish references and hearing you pronounce them! The sound quality was great and I’m so pleased you found the workshop helpful 😊
Love the concept of a reintroduction post. Excellent tips too which I will be thinking about.
Thank you, Hannah. It took me a wee while to edit it and get it up but I know I'll get quicker. I put a thick towel behind the mic to deaden some of the echoes in the room.
I have a couple of friends who, for decades now, when we talk, we sound like Glasgow dockers. Apparently we're incapable of speaking like normal humans.
PS - Bought a new Shure MV7 mic on Ebay to replace my huge Yeti. I'll let you know how I get on with it.
lovely to hear your life story in more detail. Thank you
I enjoyed telling the story, Karen. Thank you for making it through and letting me know :)
