As a perk of being a subscriber, you’re invited to our mindset group-coaching sessions on the last Wednesday of each month.

We all have our favourite ways of sabotaging ourselves. Over the years of providing therapy and mindset training, I’ve identified five main ways in which we humans tend to sabotage ourselves. I call them our PACES™️ and we’re currently going through them in turn at our coaching sessions.

In November’s session we looked at the first PACES hotspot, PERFECTIONISM. You’ll find the recording here. In January’s session a couple of weeks ago, we delved into the second one, APPROVAL ADDICTION.

I really wanted to get the recording to you within a day or two but I was staying in the most stunning location and the price for all that glorious Scottish isolation was steam-driven internet. The first time I tried uploading the recording, it failed after seven hours. Following the second attempt – nine hours – I accepted defeat and forgave myself for letting you down (take that, old perfectionist and approval habits!).

I’m back in the land of wi-fi that actually works so here, at last, is the recording. The sound is a bit iffy at times, due to the terrible connection. It finishes quite abruptly as I don’t record the Q&A at the end so that attendees can feel more comfortable asking questions and sharing their experiences. These are often the best parts of the sessions, by the way, so I recommend you attend live if you can.
